The Shoretrooper Captain Cosplay

Bad guys doing good

It has been a good while since I picked up writing on this website. May it be the lack of content inspiration (of which I funnily enough made an article about) or a huge “wall of awful” that haunted in my mind. I do not know.
Anyhow, here we are almost two years later and YEAY! Aviriia has finally picked up the website again together with a graphical overlay.

And what better way Is there to celebrate the revamp than a written post about my latest costume:
The Shoretrooper Captain.
Originally bought from my ex, the shoretrooper costume is my first armoured kit of which I joined the 501st legion with.
So, let’s take a closer look where and how I got the various parts to bring this amazing costume to life.

The Orca Boots are getting a coat of glue, sand and brown paint.

The armour parts are all made by Xekro and the softparts come from a US based vendor called thedarksidecloset.
The boots are an EU size 42 (yes, I have a size 40) from Orca Bay.
You may now wonder: Why do you wear boots that do not fit you? Well…. They are the only on-screen used and movie accurate boots. Luckily, there is a way of getting around that with extra thick socks and shoe-put in foam bits. (Forgive me, I forgot the English word of the item and google is not helping me much as of the time of writing this.)
The blaster is a 3d printed model of a E-22 blaster from Star Wars and the pouch is a Yugoslavian M49 – M56 SMG style ammo pouch.
The gloves are bought from the website Endorfinders.

Here I have a few pictures of me in the costume. And mayhap will I write a post in the future about how to get dressed in the outfit.

Spoiler: It’s very difficult to get on and you barely can move when wearing it.  😉
