The equipment that I use as a beginner Youtuber/Twitch content creator

Starting with blogging and creating YouTube video’s isn’t as hard and expensive as many believe that it is. People have been asking me for a while now what type equipment I use for my video recordings (both Twitch and Youtube).

To start of right at the basic is to have a computer. Recently I got myself a new computer for both video/image editing and livestreaming. And with those specification it’s more than enough to be able to also write a blog.

Computer Specs
– NZXT H510 White Black Case
– AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
– be quiet Dark Rock 4
–  Nvidea 3070
– Corsair 32GB DDR4
– ASUS TUF Gaming X570
– Seagate 8TB
– Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB SSD
– Corsair RM850

Now for recording am I using the Canon 80D with a 18-135mm lens with the addition of two lights which will give me addition lighting. Having studied photography I’ve came to learn that lighting is almost the most important factor to a image or video.
To make this possible did I have to buy an Elgato camlink, a mini hdmi cable and a battery dummy for the camera for the constant power supply. And of course a tripod to mount the camera onto.
In addition off the DSLR camera am I also using my Logitech C920 for footage that requires less good quality. For example on Twitch you can use this as background camera.
For Youtube B-roll video’s and on the go do I have my IphoneX with a Rhode Lavalier microphone for additional footage and audio.

(Forgive me for my rather tired expression in the day picture. Haha!)

Microphone
To record my audio at the computer do I use an HyperX Quadcast on a cheap boomarm that I got from Amazon. It’s a simple USB microphone and it works perfectly for me.

Broadcasting and Editing
To record and livestream my footage do I use OBS Studio and for additional editing do I use Adobe Premiere Pro.
For the Youtube Thumbnails do I use Adobe Photoshop.
