Have you ever sat staring before your computer screen and wondering: What shall I do now? This is exactly what I’ve been experiencing with this blog, but then just a little bit different.
With that said the decision was made that from now on I’ll be writing a (mini) blogpost per day for this website. Either be it a review, a blogpost or a news update on what has been happening in the world of Geeks and Nerds.
And with that the question immediately arises: But what if there has been no news to write about?
This is the question that I’ll be tackling on in the first blog of the website. TContent Inspiration & Where To Find It.
Inspiration to write a blog, to film a YouTube video. Name anything creative and you’ll see that there are thousands of topics to be creative about. But where to start?
This is something that is for everyone different. Yet there are tips and tricks around that can help you decide what your next project will be.
First of all where I’d start to look for inspiration is what are the things that define me. The things that I get excited about and want to be creative about. What is the niche of your inspiration?
In the online world many speak about the term ‘Niche’. A niche is described as: a specialized segment of the market for a particular kind of product or service. That is the description that google gives it
For me I came to the realisation that what gets me excited is: Content Creating, giving advice, travelling, food, photography, editing videos and photo’s, MMO games, The Star Wars Universe and Shiba Inu’s.
With this blog I mainly focus on as the name already described creating content through a blog. And within this blog I write mainly about Games, (to me) interesting and big gaming news. The same also could be said about the Star Wars side and on the side a personal blog of my normal life. This is what gave me the inspiration of creating this blog, the content of the website.
Now at this point I want you to think about what interests you. What is it that you can write, vlog, livestream and/or create content about.
Nowadays anyone with a phone can make video’s and photo’s and put them on the internet. Everyone can create content. Good or bad. But what makes you stand out? And the fear that the content that you make has already been done by someone else.
There is only one piece of advice that I can give you. And that’s to just start making content. Look at the things you love the most and what you feel comfortable doing.
With this I end up my very first blogpost. And as previously mentioned will I try and write daily an article and I hope that it has inspired you, if you’re struggling to find handles on where to start with your content creating journey, to start creating content.
Or at least have given you the advice on where to start.
